The Wynn Las Vegas Resort says it has reached an agreement with the Culinary Union that allows the company to avoid layoffs.

The Culinary and Bartenders Unions are pleased to announce new agreements with MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment, Inc. covering 36,000 unionized hospitality workers who are employed at 22 hotels and casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.

A union representing workers in Las Vegas casinos on Monday again called for all customers and workers in reopened casinos to wear face masks and for daily cleanings of guest rooms and regular testing of all workers for the coronavirus.
