Ramp Restrictions To Start June 2 And Last Through June 7

LAS VEGAS (KXNT) - The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) announces the following ramp impacts along Interstate 15 at Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas:

June 2-3 (Sunday Night-Monday Morning)

The Interstate 15 southbound exit to Spring Mountain Road westbound will be closed from 10 p.m., June 2, until 6 a.m., June 3.

June 3-4 (Monday Night-Tuesday Morning)

Two outside travel lanes along Spring Mountain Road eastbound near Interstate 15 will be closed from 10 p.m., June 3, until 6 a.m., June 4.

The Spring Mountain Road onramp to Interstate 15 southbound will be closed from 10 p.m., June 3, until 6 a.m., June 4.

June 4-5 (Tuesday Night-Wednesday Morning)

Two outside travel lanes along Spring Mountain Road eastbound near Interstate 15 will be closed from 10 p.m., June 4, until 6 a.m., June 5.

The Spring Mountain Road onramp to Interstate 15 northbound will be closed from 10 p.m., June 4, until 6 a.m., June 5.

June 5-6 (Wednesday Night-Thursday Morning)

Two outside travel lanes along Spring Mountain Road eastbound near Interstate 15 will be closed from 10 p.m., June 5, until 6 a.m., June 6.

The eastbound Spring Mountain Road onramps to Interstate 15 north and southbound will be closed from 10 p.m., June 5, until 6 a.m., June 6.

June 6-7 (Thursday Night-Friday Morning)

The Interstate 15 southbound exit to Spring Mountain Road westbound will be closed from 10 p.m., June 6, until 6 a.m., June 7.

The temporary closures are needed for milling and paving improvements as part of a $427,000 upgrade to the Interstate 15 Spring Mountain Road freeway ramps. 

Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled changes, closures, and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors.
