Voter Registration Deadline Approaches For The City Of Henderson Municipal Election

Two Weeks Of Early Voting Scheduled For Elected Offices In Henderson

HENDERSON, NV (KXNT) - The City of Henderson is holding the primary election for the Ward I, II and IV city council seats and one municipal court judge (department 1) on April 2, 2019.

Henderson residents wanting to cast a ballot in the 2019 City of Henderson municipal primary election must register by March 14. Eligible residents can register to vote or update registration information (address or party affiliation, for example) online by visiting clarkcounty.gov/election. Voters must possess a current Nevada driver’s license or an identification card issued by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles.

In-office registration is available at the City of Henderson City Clerk’s Office, 240 S. Water St.

The deadline for in-office registration is Tuesday, March 12 at 7 p.m. On March 13 and March 14, registration is only available through the Secretary of State’s website.

The requirements to be eligible to register to vote are: must be a U.S. citizen, be 18 years old by Primary Election Day and be a Clark County resident for 30 days.

Registered voters who reside within the city boundaries of Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, or North Las Vegas can vote at any early voting site of their choice. Early voting sites in Henderson include:
