Unofficial Primary Results From Boulder City Are In

Top Candidates In Mayoral Race And Council Race Advance To General Election

BOULDER CITY, NV (KXNT) - There were elections throughout parts of Southern Nevada on Tuesday. 

The unofficial final results for the primary have been counted. The top two candidates in the Mayoral race and top four in the Council race will advance to the General Election in June.

In the three-candidate Mayoral race, Incumbent Mayor Rod Woodbury and Council member Kiernan McManus received the most votes and will advance to the General Election on June 11, 2019. In the eight-candidate Council race for two seats, Council member Peggy Leavitt, Claudia M. Bridges, James Howard Adams and Council member Rich Shuman received the most
votes out of seven candidates. They will appear on the June 11, 2019 General Election ballot.

Boulder City saw a voter turnout of nearly 34-percent. The unofficial final results are attached. The 2019 General Election contains four ballot questions for voter consideration. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Boulder City Clerk’s office at (702) 293-9208.
