Two Confirmed COVID-19 Cases At UNLV

Both Had Recently Traveled Out Of State

LAS VEGAS, NV - UNLV has confirmed two cases of COVID -19.  One, who has tested poisitive in another state, was on campus 15 days ago.  The employee said they did not have contact with anyone at the university at that time.

Another UNLV staffer who hasn't been on campus for the past two weeks tested positive after traveling out of state on university business earlier this month.  Those who have come in contact with this employee have been notified.

Both individuals are self-isolating and receiving care.

In more news invloving UNLV, the spring commencement ceremony scheduled for May has been postponed to a later, unspecified date.
