LAS VEGAS (KXNT) - Summer is just around the corner, and to help enure a safe and productive break, the Clark County School District (CCSD) is providing parents with a list of activities and resources to keep students busy and learning.

Parents and students can visit ccsd.net/summer, a one-stop Web page with information on a variety of topics including summer classes, food service programs, FACES, Safekey partners, summer camps, summer safety, back to school fairs and even hiking trails in Clark County.

"We want our students and families to have a safe and enjoyable summer break," said CCSD Board of School Trustees President Deanna L. Wright. "We hope our local residents will take advantage of all the great information on this Web page," Wright said.

The last day of school is May 24. Classes for the 2018-19 school year will begin August 13.

Registration for CCSD students for the 2018-19 school year is now open. Families with currently enrolled students can complete registration using Parent Portal via Infinite Campus (campusp0ortal.ccsd.net).

Families new to CCSD may begin their registration process online via register.ccsd.net. Parents or guardians who already have an Infinite Campus account will see an announcement through the Parent Portal and a link connecting them to the 2018-19 registration page.
