LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Starting this week, the Nevada Division of Forestry will be removing hazardous trees along Nevada State Route 157 (Kyle Canyon Road) to help protect the public while restoring forest health in the surrounding area.

Through the end of October, please be advised that traffic delays are anticipated weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., between the intersection of Nevada State Route 158 (Deer Creek Road) and Echo Subdivision.

As the project gets underway, visitors at the Kyle Canyon Picnic area and Fletcher View Campground area may hear construction equipment during the day and encounter intermittent traffic control along Kyle Canyon Road.
