Victim Met Suspect To Buy A Computer

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas Metro homicide detectives are investigating a murder that happened yetserday near Rampart and Lake Mead.

Police got a call around 9:30 Thursday morning of a shooting at a residence located in the 8400 block of Shady Shores Circle. Arriving officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to UMC Trauma but died from his injuries.

Further investigation by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated the victim met the suspect after coordinating an online purchase of a computer. The two were heard arguing and shortly after, the victim was shot. The suspect then fled the scene in a black SUV.

The identification of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
