'First Friday' canceled tonight
State's 3-week "pause" made holding event impossible

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - As Nevada continues with its 3-week "pause" in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19, the organziers of downtown't monthly party say'll they'll take a break as well.
The First Friday Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization has canceled December's First Friday event for Friday night. This decision was made due to the COVID-19 health threat and the current State of Nevada Pause in effect.
The First Friday Foundation say that they continue to work on ways for communities to gather virtually for the next few months.
First Friday will be host a toy drive with the Salvation Army that will take place on the weekend of Dec. 11th. More details to come on that.
