Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Wynn Resorts says that starting Monday, its Encore property will be reducing its hours.

The resort - all of it, hotel, casino, restaurants - will close at noon Monday and won’t reopen until 2pm Thursday.

The company says demand right now isn’t enough to warrant them being open 24/7. Wynn officials refused to estimate how many workers would have to be furloughed due to the reduction in hours.

The Encore poker room will remain open, but will move its location. Starting on Monday, the poker area will be located on the casino floor near the Wynn self-park garage.

Wynn Las Vegas next door will not see any reduction in their hours of operation.
