LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - It's almost become an epidemic, the number of accidents or incidents on Valley roads caused by drivers going the wrong way.

The latest case happened early Friday morning and thankfully it turned out to be a best case scenario.

Nevada Highway Patrol pulled over a work truck that was heading north in the southbound lanes of U.S. 95. NHP says the truck got on the freeway at Casino Center and wasn't stopped until Jones, a stretch of roughly 5 miles.

No wrecks resulted from the wrong-way driver, who was arrested on suspicion of D.U.I.

According to NHP Trooper Justin Buratczuk, NHP's Southern Command has already responded to 52 wrong-way driver calls since the beginning of the year.
