LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Officials at McCarran International Airport say that a worker at one of their Hudson News locations has tested postive for COVID-19.

The airport says the worker tested positive on May 27th, and that the location where the person worked was immedately closed and given a thorough cleaning and sanitation. The exact location of the store where the employee worked wasn't disclosed. Hudson has numerous loations in both Terminals 1 and 3.

The employee will self-quarantine for 14 days, standard procedure for an employee who tests positive for the coronavirus.

Since the start of the pandemic, 6 airport workers have tested positive. Besidens the worker at Hudson News, four Transportation Security Administration agents and one Federal Aviation Administration employee have also tested positive
