Robber Was Going After Her Purse

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A woman is recovering after being stabbed in the parking lot of the Las Vegas Premium Outlets South on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say that around 4:30pm the woman was heading from the mall on Warm Springs and Las Vegas Boulevard to her car when she was approached by a man who demanded her purse.

The woman refused the demand and a struggle ensued. Then the man pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman in the stomach.

The woman was taken to University Medical Center with what were deemed non life-threatening injuries.

The suspect got away. So far, police don't have a description of the man to share with the general public.
