LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A Las Vegas woman has entered a guilty plea for a fatal DUI accident back in early August that took the lives of two 16-year-old girls.

Last week, a judge ordered Ebone Whitaker to face trial on felony charges alleging she drove under the influence of alcohol and drugs when her car struck and killed the girls in a crosswalk near the Boulevard Mall back on August 3rd.

Citlali Mora and Nelly Amaya-Ramirez were struck while trying to cross Maryland Parkway at Katie.

According to court documents, Whitaker signed an agreement Tuesday to plead guilty to one count of DUI resulting in death and one count of reckless driving. She agreed to a sentence of 10 to 25 years in prison

Whitaker admitted to police that she had used drugs and alcohol the day of the accident, and has a long history of drug-related charges.
