LAS VEGAS. NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas Metro Police are searching for a man who was seen on camera attacking a bus passenger.

Officers said Thursday that the attack occurred on February 3rd on a Regional Transportation Commission bus at Charleston and 3rd Street.

The 71-year-old victim was involved in an argument with another man and a woman about a seat on the bus.

That man then reportedly punched the victim in the face and then left at the next stop.

The elderly man was treated for a brain bleed.

The suspect is described as a white male adult in his mid-twenties, 5’7” to 5’10” and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hat with a letter D, sunglasses, blue hoodie and black pants.

The woman who accompanied the suspect is being sought by detectives as a person of interest. She is described as a white female in her twenties, 5’5” and weighing 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue and white hoodie, black sunglasses, black pants and a large leopard print purse with a red strap.

It's the latest in a series of attacks involving RTC bus riders.

Last March, a woman pushed an elderly man off a bus downtown after getting into a disagreement. That man later died from injuries suffered due to his head hitting the concrete as he fell from the bus.

More recently, an elderly man lost an eye after a man punched him in the face after the man asked the suspect to take his feet off of the man's lap.

The man who threw that punch was arrested a couple of weeks later.
