LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Vegas Golden Knights fans who attended Sunday night's game had to wait an extra day to satisfy their sweet tooth with a free Krispy Kreme doughnut.

The chain has teamed up with the VGK to give a free glazed doughnut to game ticket holders the day after a shutout victory. Sunday night, the Golden Knights and Marc-Andre Fleury blanked the Calgary Flames 6-0.

The problem is, the five Las Vegas locations that honor the promotion were closed for most of the day on Monday. Those locations were having new computers, cash registers and security equipment installed.

The promotion will be honored on Tuesday and Wednesday instead.

Those at Sunday's game will have to show their ticket stub to get their free sweet treat.
