LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas is often near the top when lists come out for Most Exciting, Most Fun, and, yes, Most Sinful.

That said, it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that Las Vegas gets a high ranking when it comes to places to be for Halloween.

The financial website WalletHub is out with a new survey that ranks the best places in which to spend Halloween and Las Vegas comes in 5th

Only New York, Los Angeles, Boston and San Diego are ranked higher.

WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities based on 21 key metrics. They range from costume stores per capita to average price per Halloween party ticket to share of potential trick-or-treat stops.

Helping Las Vegas’ ranking the most is a 2nd-place finish in the “Most Costume Stores Per Capita” category, and a 4th place ranking for “Most Candy and Chocolate Stores per Capita”.

At the bottom of the list, with Halloweens so bad it’s scary? Baton Rouge, Memphis, and Birmingham, Alabama.
