LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Two men from the Netherlands were arrested after authorities say they were caught trespassing on to the Nevada National Security Site.

21 year old Govert Sweep and 20 year old Ties Granzier had multiple cameras, plus a laptop, cell phone and drone in their car.

The two are both known as YouTubers, meaning they have a page that people can subscribe to. Granzier's YouTube Channel alone has over 750,000 subscribers.

Nye County deputies found the pair's car parked near a gate roughly three miles past the test site's Mercury Highway exit..

The men said they got a tip on where to go from a nearby convenience store worker and weren't up to anything malicious. They claimed to not know anything about the numerous events near Area 51 scheduled for next weekend, saying they wouldn't even be there for them as their flight back home is scheduled to leave before those events begin.

The two were released from jail after posting $500 bail. They're due in Beatty Justice Court on Monday.
