LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Two students at Tarkanian Middle School are accused of threatening a school shooting.

Police arrested the 12 and 13-year-old girls Wednesday on charges of terroristic threatening.

Investigators say the girls left a note on a bathroom wall warning students of a planned shooting and telling them not to come to school Wednesday. That note was discovered on Tuesday and was quickly spread through social media.

Police did not find any weapons and deemed the threat not credible.

The two girls were taken to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center. Classes at Tarkanian went on as scheduled on Wednesday without incident.
