LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Metro Police are investigating two separate east-side homicides overnight.

The first was a stabbing Tropicana and Stephanie, near Wetlands Park. Police believe that the victim and suspect got into a verbal argument prior to the stabbing. Police say the two people involved knew each other but have little else to go on.

Later, there was an incident near Eastern and Bonanza. Investigators say that the victims drove into the area and pulled up to an unidentified suspect who was on foot.

The victims and suspect had a conversation and as the victims drove away, the suspect fired several rounds striking them. The victim’s vehicle continued to drive forward until it collided into a wall.

The suspect fled on foot prior to police arrival. That car crashed. Both people in that car died.

No arrests have been made. Police are asking for any that has more information to get in touch with them, or to call Crimestoppers at 702-385-5555 (or
