LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - You may think that a gal from New York would be a Jets or Giants fan when it comes to football, but the one on the Strip is all about Las Vegas.

Crews were out Thursday morning decking out the Statue of Liberty in front of New York New York in a giant Las Vegas Raiders jersey.

The Raiders kick off their inaugural season in Las Vegas with a road game at Carolina on Sunday. Their first home game is a Monday-nighter on September 21st against the New Orleans Saints.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the team isn’t allowing fans to attend games at Allegiant Stadium. Only a handful of teams are letting fans inside their stadiums, with very strict limits enforced
