LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Allegiant Stadium will have more parking space after the Raiders bought some more land.

The team purchased over 17 acres of space near the under-construction stadium along Dean Martin Drive west of I-15, across from Mandalay Bay.

The deal was closed on September 27th for a reported $28 million.  According to Raiders president Marc Madain, the new parcels of land should open up around 27-hundred additional parking spots.

Shuttles will be available to take fans to the game from those new spots

One of the major concerns when the stadium location was first announced was if there would be enough spaces available for fans to use. Just over 2,700 parking spots will be available on the Allegiant Stadium site/
