LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Millions of dollars will be sent to Nevada to rebuild the interchange at Tropicana Avenue on I-15.

Thursday, the US Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao announced that 50-million dollars will go towards the Southern Nevada project.

The project as a whole is projected to cost 200-million dollars. The aim is for the interchange to have a longer and wider overpass over the I-15, which as seen as especially important with nearby Allegiant Stadium set to open later this summer.

President Trump even tweeted support of the project on Thursday night.
