LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Work is progressing nicely on the Centennial Bowl project in the northwest Valley where U.S. 95 meets the 215 Northern Beltway but in the overnight  hours for the next few night, drivers in that area are going to have to find an alternate route

Between April 1st and April 6th from 8pm until 5am, The Nevada Department of Transportation will close the 215 Northern Beltway in both directions between Oso Blanca and Sky Pointe Drive. During that time, drivers can use Ann Road to the south or Deer Springs to the north as east/west alternates to the Northern Beltway.

The temporary closures are needed to safely remove falsework from the new northbound U.S. Highway 95 to westbound 215 Beltway flyover, plus place concrete atop the southbound U.S. Highway 95 to eastbound 215 Beltway bridge deck structure.

The Centennial Bowl project calls for building new freeway flyover ramps, connecting the eastbound 215 Beltway to U.S. 95 southbound and U.S. 95 northbound to the 215 Beltway westbound. The project is scheduled to finish later this summer.
