LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - It's been a brutal week for drivers using I- 15 through the Resort Corridor, and it's only going to get worse this weekend.

Paving work for Project Neon has been impacting both sides of I-15 this week between Silverado Ranch and Sahara, part of the final phase of the project that N-DOT's called "Pave-A-Palooza". This weekend, N-DOT will completely close 15N between Sahara and the Spaghetti Bowl. The closure begins at 10pm Friday, and should be lifted by 5am on Monday. Spaghetti Bowl ramps will be affected as well.

Last week, the southbound lanes of I-15 between the Spaghetti Bowl and Sahara were shut down for similar work.

Project Neon,  the widening of Insterstate 15 between the Spaghetti Bowl and Sahara, is the biggest road construction project ever undertaken in Nevada. It's currently 96 percent done, with full completion expected later this summer
