LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Classes are in session as normal at Cimarron-Memorial High School Thursday after a threat aimed at the school yesterday was deemed to be unfounded.

Cimarron-Memorial principal Lori Sarabyn sent an e-mail to parents of students at the school Wednesday evening informing them of the situation.

According to the e-mail, a student at the high school got into some kind of altercation off-campus, and that was followed by an online threat to Cimarron-Memorial. Clark County School District Police were immediately notified and it was determined that the threat was not a serious one. The name of the student involved in the altercation and online threat has not been released.

In spite of the fact that the threat was put down, there was a heavier presence of CCSD Police on the grounds of Cimarron-Memorial on Thursday morning
