Numerous S. NV Communities Make New "Fastest Growing" List

LAS VEGAS, NV - In news that should come as a surprise to no one who's been in southern Nevada for more than a few weeks, the region continues to see a boom in population, with that boom confirmed in a new report from the financial website WalletHub.

WalletHub compared 515 cities of varying population sizes based on 17 key measures of both growth and decline over a period of seven years. Our data set ranges from population growth to unemployment rate decrease to growth in regional GDP per capita.

The growth of the Las Vegas metro are overall wasn't that impressive, coming in at 143rd place. Surrounding communities ranked much higher on the list;

Enterprise- 4th

Spring Valley- 22nd

Henderson - 31st

North Las Vegas - 78th

Only Lehigh Acres, Florida, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and Bend, Oregon were rated as growing faster than Enterprise.
