LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A third suspect in the death of a Valley woman whose body was found encased in concrete in the desert will be held without bail while she awaits trial.

40 year-old Cassandra Garrett was extradited to Las Vegas from Milwaukee earlier this week. Police say Garrett helped her roommate, Christopher Prestipino, kill Esmeralda Gonzalez and take her body out to the desert.

Both Garrett and Prestipino face charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and first-degree kidnapping.

Gonzalez, who disappeared in May, lived a short distance away from Prestipino. Investigators say she worked in the adult industry, and had over 300,000 followers on Instagram

Prosecutors believe that Prestipino and Garrett restrained Gonzalez in their residence before killing her with an injection of pool cleaner.

Gonzalez' body was found northeast of the Valley back in July. Prestipino was arrested not long afterward, along with 31 year-old Lisa Mort. Mort faces charges of  harboring, concealing or aiding a felon.

Also on Wednesday, a judge agreed to house arrest for Prestipino, who posted $500,000 bond. Prosecutor protested, saying they considered Prestipino a flight risk, but the judge went along with the original arrangement.

Both Garrett and Prestipino are due back in court on Thursday.
