LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The Nevada Highway Patrol says impairment was a factor in a deadly crash north of Las Vegas where two people were killed..

The victims were found dead in a car that left the road on State Route 168 northwest of I-15 yesterday afternoon.

Investigators say that the car lost control while driving west, and the driver crossed both lanes before leaving the road. According to state troopers, neither victim was wearing their seatbelts. 

The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
