LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Sin City. Lake Mead. Lake Tahoe. Nightlife. Dining. The Old West. The Open Road.

Combine all those factors and it's not surprising to see Nevada scoring high in a new survey from the personal financial website Wallethub. The survey released Tuesday ranked which states were "Most Fun", and Nevada did pretty well.

Topping the list? Califonia, followed by Florida, New York, Washington and Colorado. Nevada ranked 6th.

What gave the Silver State a boost was the "nightlife" category. Based primariliy on The Strip, Nevada ranked Number One there. In the category of "Entertainment and Recreation", Nevada ranks a little bit lower, but still comes in at a respectable 15h place.

On the other end of the scale, West Virginia gets the title of the least "Fun" state in the U.S, followed by Mississippi, Delaware, Rhode Island and Vermont.
