Nevada's Coronavirus case count tops 76,000

Virus-related deaths see highest increase since Friday

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The Southern Nevada Health District added 172 new coronavirus cases to Clark County's total on Tuesday, bringing that total to 64,470.

The virus-related death toll in Clark County rose by 15 to 1,343.

Statewide, there were 76,298 positive cases (up 262 from Monday) with 1,546 virus-related deaths (up 15, all from Clark County).

The daily positivity test rate decreased to 6.7% (from 6.1%), while the cumulative positivity test rate held at an even 10%

Hospitalizations of confirmed COVID-19 cases stand at 360 (up 5 from Monday), with 140 COVID patients in ICU (up 10).
