LAS VEGAS, NV - Nice weather, plenty of wide open spaces, and lots of entertainment options. Add it all up and Nevada is a pretty good place to be.

Residents of the Silver State seem to echo that sentiment, according to a new survey from the financial website WalletHub.

WalletHub recently came out with their rankings of "Happiest States" and Nevada came in 13th.

Helping out Nevada were high rankings in "Lowest Share of Adult Depression" (3rd), "Community and Environment" (3rd) and "Work Environment" (9th).

On the down side, Nevada brings up the rear in the categories of "Highest Divorce Rate", and the 3rd lowest ranking in "Volunteering" and "Income Growth"

Overall, it's truly best in Paradise, with Hawaii taking the top spot in the "Happiest State" rankings. Rounding out the rest of the Top 5: Utah, Minnesota, California and New Jersey.

The least-happiest state in the survey were concentrated in the southeast, including Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and, bringing up the bottom of the survey- West Virginia.
