LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT)- Final numbers are in for poker's marquee event. This year's World Series Of  Poker's main event drew just over 8,500 entries, making it the 2nd largest field in the series 50-year history. The field is about 200 fewer than the all-time high participation that was seen in 2006

Cardplayers from around the world will compete for a share of the 80-million dollar prize pool with the winner pocketing a cool ten million dollars, a gold bracelet and title of poker world champion.

About 2800 players remain seated at the Rio when play resumes Monday. A final table is expected to be established within the next week. Those seated at the final table will all be millionaires before the first hand is dealt
