Former missing North Las Vegas infant Benjamin Quintero,

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - North Las Vegas police say that they have found a 3-week old boy who was illegally taken by the boy's mother on Friday night.

Police had been searching for Benjamin Quintero ever since the boy's mom, 32-year-old Nyeisha Barrett, snatched the child from Barrett's mother's home. Police say the grandmother was awarded custody of the boy because Barrett is a known methamphetamine user.

North Las Vegas police didn't say where the boy was found, nor what condition he was in.

Meanwhile, the search continues for Barrett, who is described as 5'2", 120 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red shirt with red pants and red shoes, police said. She has the word "blessed" tattooed on her chest.
