LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A sad ending to the search for a missing North Las Vegas man.

87 year-old Robert Rascon had been reported missing by his wife around noon on Friday from their home near Aliante and Grand Teton. Early Saturday morning, North Las Vegas Police say Rascon was struck twice while walking along I-15 near milepost 63.

Rascon's wife said her husband was suffering from a severe case of Alzheimer's and had taken their car from their home while she was sleeping. He didn't have a cell phone or his medication with him when he left. His wife also said that Rascon hadn't driven in a couple of years.

Neither of the drivers that struck Rascon are expected to face any charges.
