MGM Resorts Reopening The Excalibur On Thursday

No Other Openings Planned For Next Two Weeks

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - One week after gaming operations were allowed to resume in Nevada, MGM Resorts International will reopen the Excalibur Hotel and Casino on Thursday.

MGM had already opened the MGM Grand, Signature at MGM Grand, Bellagio and New York New York, and said that other resorts would open based on demand seen for those properties.

“It was exciting and emotional to see the energy in Las Vegas last week as we welcomed back our employees and reopened our doors to guests for the first time in months,” Bill Hornbuckle, MGM Resorts’ acting CEO and president, said in a statement.

MGM-owned Luxor and the Shoppes at Mandalay Bay Place are scheduled to reopen on June 25th.

On July 1, the company says it will reopen the Aria, Mandalay Bay and the Four Seasons.
