Metro: Drug deal behind shooting at Miracle Mile Shops

Las Vegas, Nv (KXNT) - In the latest of what's becoming an almost weekly event, there was another shooting on the Strip over the weekend.
The latest one happened Sunday night in front of the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.

The person who was wounded is expected to be ok. The shooter was last seen running north on the Strip. Metro stressed at the time that it was not an active shooter situation.
Investigators are relying on witness statements as well as surveillance video from the scene to help them find the shooter. Metro Police say they believe that a drug transaction went bad and the shooting was the end result of that.
