McCarran Airport Parking Fees Going Up
Increase Is The First Since 2013

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - It's going to cost a little bit more to park at McCarran International Airport, but the good news is that the increase won't kick in until after the holidays.
At its Tuesday meeting, the Clark County Commission voted unanimously to raise parking rates for the long-term garage, economy garages and valet.
Starting February 3rd, the long-term garage rate increases from $16 to $18 a day. Economy parking goes from $10 per day to $12, and valet rises from $23 per day to $30.
Impound rates will be increasing, too, from $10 all the way to $50.

The increase marks the first hike in parking fees since 2013. The Department of Aviation says that even with the increase, McCarran's parking rates are still below the average rates of the nation's Top 20 airports
The additional funds from parking will help improve the airport and go towards projects like maximizing the number of available spaces and removing some conflicts where pedestrians and vehicles now share the same spaces when traveling through the airport.
