LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A Las Vegas man is accused of trying to extort money from a high-profile gambler using a sex-tape of the two.

Federal prosecutors say 27-year-old Fredi Kazimirsky met the victim in April while working as a prostitute, and recorded the man without his knowledge.

He then threatened to sell the footage to TMZ or an adult website unless the man paid him 100-thousand-dollars.

The victim contacted the FBI and Kazimirsky was arrested during a sting operation.  If convicted, he faces up to five-years in prison.

Kazimirsky is scheduled to go to trial on October 7th. He faces a maximum five year prison sentence and a $250,000 fine
