LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas police say an off-duty officer held several people at gunpoint after a car crashed into a steakhouse.

Police say the officer observed the Friday morning crash and that its occupants became aggressive when the officer went to check on them.

According to investigators, the male driver and female passenger got into a verbal disagreement. The woman then got out of the car and the man attempted to run her down. He ended up hitting the front of the Morton's Steakhouse at Flamingo and Paradise instead.

Nobody was injured, but Police Lt. Allen said the suspects were taken into custody when other officers arrived. Allen said police suspected impairment was involved in the crash.
