The fire, which broke out back on June 28th, burned just under 2,800 acres. Investigators believe that the fire was caused by people who started an illegal campfire in very windy conditions.
Crews will remain on scene to keep an eye out for hotspots that might develop. While State Routes 156 and 157 have reopened, State Route 158 (Deer Creek Highway) remains closed until further notice.
No structures were damaged and no injuries from the fire were reported.
