Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) -  Two Las Vegas Strip properties have announced that they will be laying off hundreds of employees as resorts along Las Vegas Boulevard struggle with low visitation rates due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Tropicana Las Vegas gave notice to nearly 830 workers Wednesday that they were getting laid off.  The layoffs are starting immediately according to officials.

Layoffs are also coming to two Paris Las Vegas restaurants.  Mon Ami Gabi will layoff nearly 100 employees while the Eiffel Tower Restaurant will lay off more than 50.
