LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas certainly is thought of as a great place to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

…but for Christmas?

Yep, we’re a desirable destination for that holiday, too, at least according to a new survey from the financial website WalletHub

According to WalletHub, Las Vegas is the 6th best place to celebrate Christmas in the U.S.

WalletHub compared the 100 biggest cities across 33 key metrics. The data set ranges from Christmas events per capita to average price per Christmas party ticket to shopping centers and outlets per capita.

What helped out Las Vegas in the overall ranking were #1 rankings in the “Most Toy Stores and Hobby Shops Per Capita”, “Cost of Three-Star Hotel Room” and “Gift Shops Per Capita” Categories.

WalletHub didn’t find Henderson or North Las Vegas nearly as festive. Henderson was ranked 88th out of 100 cities. North Las Vegas? 99th. Only Hialeah, Florida fared worse.

The best place to celebrate Christmas? WalletHub says that would be Atlanta, followed by Orlando, New York City, Pittsburgh and Chicago.
