Henderson Police Officer Wounded In Shooting
Suspect In Incident Shot, Killed

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A Henderson Police officer was wounded following a shootout with an armed man on Sunday night.

Police were called to a domestic disturbance in a neighborhood near Anthem Parkway and Reunion Drive.
Investigators say that when police arrived on scene, the suspect was verbally uncooperative.
A short time after that, they say the man produced a gun and shots were fired. One of the officers was wounded. That officer was taken to a hospital and it's believed the injuries are non-life-threatening.
The suspect died at the scene.
As of early Monday, officers remained on the scene to investigate. The names of the wounded officer and the man who was killed have not yet been released.
