LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) – As southern Nevada starts to get back to business with the reopening of hotel-casinos back on June 4th, Greyhound Bus Lines has announced that they're increasing their schedules to and from Las Vegas.

“We’ve had a lot of experience as an essential service provider over the past few months when it comes to coronavirus transmission prevention on our buses and in our terminals,” said Joseph Hapac, Regional Vice President, Greyhound Lines Inc. “We’ve been preparing since the beginning of the pandemic for what a return to a higher volume of customers will look like and as travelers increase, we’ve taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety of our passengers and team members at every touchpoint of their journeys.”

From providing pre-packaged masks for customers to introducing ozonation—an advanced sanitation procedure that destroys viruses, including COVID-19—on its buses, Greyhound says it is taking necessary precautions to ensure customers travel with peace of mind.

In addition to these efforts, Greyhound is adding extra buses to schedules when possible to reduce the number of passengers onboard.

Customers traveling to and from Las Vegas can connect to Greyhound’s network of over 2,400 destinations nationwide.
