LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The Vegas Golden Knights knocked off St. Louis Thursday 6-4, setting up a Saturday showdown with Colorado for the conference #1 seed in the playoffs.

The Golden Knights erased an early 2-0 deficit, helped by two goals from Alex Tuch. St. Louis bounced back to a 4-3 lead at the end of the second period, netting two goals in just :21 seconds late in the period.

Zach Whitecloud would score early in the third, with Mark Stone pushing VGK into the lead, and Nate Schmidt landing his second goal of the night to cap the scoring.

The Golden Knights out shot the Blues 38-17, with St. Louis ending up empty on three power play opportunities.
