Golden Knights, Raiders Issue Statements About Protests And George Floyd

Both Franchises Advocate Non-Violent Actions, Push For Reforms

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas' NHL and NFL franchises issued late Sunday night statements related to making a societal change in the wake of the death of George Floyd. The statement from the Vegas Golden Knights denounced racism and say they will stand by those who peacefully seek meaningful change.

Raiders' team owner Mark Davis issued a personal plea via the franchise's official twitter feed.  He called for solutions, pleading "not only as Americans, but as human beings".
