Melinda Sheckells from Flip the Strip talks the latest when it comes to Journey's Residency, The Raiders, and of course Grasshopper Pizza.

For the first time ever this fall, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Journey will take the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

With nine dates announced for October and now the addition of Dec. 27, 28, 30 and 31, fans will have the opportunity to spend New Year’s Eve weekend with the group that's been touching the world with its infectious music for five decades.

Also,on the newest episode of Flip the Strip (which you can listen to on Radio.com or Apple Podcasts), Melinda and her co-host Mark, attempt to predict who will be the first performer when The Raiders play their inaugural game at the new stadium here in Las Vegas. Melinda has her money on Beyoncé, but Mark thinks it might be some other major superstar.

Once the stadium is complete, and The Raiders announce their lineup for their home games, we may finally get a better insight as to who will be the first to sing the National Anthem in the multi-million dollar stadium, as well as who will be the first half-time show performer. But for now, all we have to go off of is conjecture, and Melinda's inside knowledge and sources.

And, of course, Melinda couldn't end her weekly hit on Nevada's Morning News without talking about the latest food craze on the Las Vegas Strip: Grasshopper Pizza!

One valley restaurant is making the most out of the hordes of grasshoppers that have descended upon Las Vegas — by using them as inspiration for a pizza topping.

The Las Vegas Restaurant, Evel Pie, has started to sell pizzas that use grasshoppers as the main ingredient for a pie they’re calling The Canyon Hopper.

Since unveiling the special pizza, the Canyon Hopper has gone viral, with several publications covering and tasting the pie.

Would you pay to eat this pizza topped with grasshoppers? If so head over to our Facebook and Twitter pages to take a poll on this pest filled pizza.
