Fire At Vacant House Does $400K Worth Of Damage

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Damage is estimated at $400,000 after fire tore through a home in the southwest Valley Monday night.

Clark County firefighters responded to the blaze in the 5700 block of Duneville Street, near Decatur and Russell, around 10pm. Flames and heavy smoke were clearly visible so firefighters went on the offensive.

In all it took about 30 minutes for the fire to be put out. 

Investigators say that the house was vacant and no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire has yet to be established and continues to be under investigation.
