LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Labor Day Weekend is coming and it's usually thought of the unofficial end of summer, but Mother Nature isn't done bringing Southern Nevada the heat.

The National Weather Service has issued an excessive Heat Warning for the Las Vegas area. The warning lasts until Thursday night at 8.

Clark County has opened up cooling stations to help those who need to escape the heat. water will be available at the cooling centers, as well.

High temps across the Valley are expected to reach close to 110 for the next few days, with a bit of a cooling trend for the weekend.
